New Managing Director at the helm of Imperial Tobacco Hungary

Mr. Lorant Dezso joined Imperial Tobacco Hungary Ltd. as its new Managing Director on August 1, 2010. The company’s cigarette brands well-known on the domestic market include Davidoff, West, Golden Gate, Symphonia and Moon, while its products such as Golden Gate and Symphonia belong to the most popular brands of local fine-cut smoking tobacco intended for make-your-on and roll-your-on cigarettes.

The new Managing Director previously worked as market manager for Imperial Tobacco Bulgaria Ltd. Having graduated from Essen University he worked for Coca Cola Germany for a while and joined Reemtsma international tobacco company (a predecessor to Imperial Tobacco Group) in 1998. He has been working in the Central-Eastern European region for many years.

Mr. Dezso speaks English, German, Romanian and Serbian fluently and is accompanied by his wife and daughter.
